DAHLONEGA, Ga. – Georgia Southwestern State University junior midfielder
Dante Johnson has been selected to the 2025 Peach Belt Conference Men's Soccer All-Tournament Team, the league announced following the conclusion of the championship match. Johnson becomes a two-time All-Tournament honoree, adding this year's recognition to his selection in 2023.
A Columbus, Ga. native, Johnson was a standout presence in the midfield during GSW's postseason run and played all 107 minutes in the Hurricanes' double-overtime quarterfinal matchup at Clayton State. His work rate, ball-winning ability, and composure in possession were central to GSW's efforts as the Hurricanes battled deep into extra time. His 1410 minutes on the pitch for the season ranked second on the team. Johnson put four shots on goal this fall and recorded a goal and an assist, both of which came during conference play.
