Southwestern on Sunday afternoon at Hurricane Field. GSW falls to

the inning with a single to the right side of the infield and
advanced to second when the UWA starting pitcher Matt Hill was
unable to grab the toss from second baseman Jeremy Finney.
After a Cody Adams ground out to short, Kevin Carroll knocked a
double to left that advanced Stanton to third.
Daniel Stokes picked up his first RBI of the season when he
slapped a single to center field to score Stanton. Miles
Martin connected for a single through the right side of the infield
to give the 'Canes their third consecutive hit and second run
of the inning. Stokes advanced to third on the Martin single
and proceeded to score off a sacrifice fly from Chris Lingham to
round out the GSW scoring.
Kevin Deese broke a 3-3 tie in the top of the fifth for West
Alabama with a single to left field that scored Jeremy Finney and
Douglas Frazier.
The Tigers added another run in the seventh inning and one more
in the ninth.
