Serafim arrives to Americus after serving on the men’s staff at both Milligan University and Lees-McRae College.
He served on the staff at Milligan University with Coach Barber. After winning the Appalachian Athletic regular season title (9-1-3), the staff earned the AAC Staff of the Year award. The 2022 season saw the Buffs making an appearance in the NAIA National Tournament and also included a mid-season unbeaten streak of 15 games with a final overall season record of 10-3-7.
He served as an assistant at Lees-McRae College from 2019-2022. He played a key role in the rebirth of the men’s program helping them to a top four finish in Conference Carolinas in 2021.
Serafim graduated with Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Lees-McRae College in 2022. He then received his master's degree in Sport Management/Athletic Coaching from Milligan University in May 2025.
With most of his experience coming in the college game, he has also spent time coaching at High Country United in Boone, NC. He spent time working with the U-13 and U-14 Boys age groups.
Serafim has coached multiple all conference players in his time at both Lees-McRae and Milligan, in 2022 Luke Bennett was named AAC Player of the Year after a successful season with Milligan under the mentorship of the coaching staff.
