WINTER PARK, Fla. - The Georgia Southwestern State University's women's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season, a 2-0 setback, at Rollins College on Saturday evening.
Following a 65-minute weather delay, the two sides squared off at Barker Family Stadium and Cahall-Sandspur Field and the Tars punched in what would turn out to be the game-winning score in the 22nd minute. GSW trailed 1-0 at the break after being outshot 7-2 in the first half and whistled for seven more fouls, 8-1.
Rollins capped off the scoring early in the second half with a goal in the 47th minute. The Lady Hurricanes took four shots in the second half with one being on goal.
