AMERICUS, Ga. — The Georgia Southwestern State University men's soccer team fell to Clayton State, 4-0, Wednesday night at Hurricane Field in Peach Belt Conference play.
Clayton State opened the scoring in the twenty-sixth minute with a goal from Fabian Wagner. The Lakers added three more in the second half, including two from Donghyun Kim and a second from Wagner in the eighty-sixth minute.
Georgia Southwestern recorded eleven shots, five of which were on goal. Lucas Schofield led the team with four attempts, while goalkeeper Noah Kasin finished with two saves.
The Hurricanes move to 3-4-2 overall and 2-3-1 in conference play with the result.
