AMERICUS, Ga. – The Georgia Southwestern State University women's soccer team and Clayton State University played to a scoreless draw Saturday night at Hurricane Field.
The Lady Hurricanes controlled the match, outshooting the Lakers 18-2 and holding a 10-0 advantage in shots on goal. GSW also earned seven corner kicks while limiting Clayton State to three.
Despite several strong scoring chances, the Hurricanes were unable to find the back of the net. Goalkeeper Alana Beddow recorded a clean sheet without facing a shot on goal.
With the result, GSW moves to 4-7-3 overall and 1-5-3 in Peach Belt Conference play.
