The Wrong Kind of Donut

GREENWOOD, SC. -- Georgia Southwestern softball loses the season series to Lander falling 8-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Similar to the first game of the series GSW gets shut out and manages just two hits that came from Lacey Rutledge and Natalia Herrera as GSW could not find any offense in the final game.

Hurricanes pitching struggled three pitchers were used Zoey Willis who started the game pitched 1.1 innings gave up three hits and two runs and earned the loss and falls to 12-3. Hannah Holloway the first relief pitcher used fared no better pitched 1.2 innings gave up two hits, and three walks, and gave up three runs. Savanna Bradford pitched and logged the most innings 2.1 gave up six hits, three walks, and three runs.

This was a series to forget as the ladies look to move on as they come home to host Albany State (21-11, 14-5) for a non-conference midweek doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon.
