Perfect Ten

AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern baseball team gets back in the win column defeating University of South Carolina Beaufort. 10-0 on Friday afternoon.

Kalvin Alexander had a great game behind the plate going 2-for-3 and added a home run with three rbis he currently leads the team with five home runs and is third on the team with 17 rbis.

Alexander was just one of six Hurricanes players to record multiple hits for the game.

GSW scored in the first inning and never looked back the offense hit on all cylinders scoring 10 runs and collected 15 hits on the day.

Nick McCollum improves to 3-1 on the season he tossed a complete game pitched eight innings (game went 8 innings due to mercy rule) gave up six hits struck out six batters and gave up no runs. 

GSW will stay home as they continue their three-game weekend series against USC Beaufort at 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
