AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern men's basketball team was defeated by the Albany State Rams in the season opener Wednesday night. The Hurricanes just couldn't find their rhythm on Wednesday night shooting just 28 percent from three. The difference in the game was rebounding, Albany State outrebounded the Hurricanes by 15 leading to a 19 to four advantage on second-chance points.
The Hurricanes look to bounce back at the North Georgia Classic against Lee University.
