AMERICUS Ga. -- The Georgia Southwestern men's soccer team gave the Young Harris College Mountain Lions another tough test as they had the lead agaisnt the fourth-ranked Mountain Lions for 83 minutes Wednesday night. The Mountain Lions in the 86th and also the final minute of the game scored two goals to take a 2-1 lead with 43 seconds left in the game ending the Hurricanes bid for an upset.
Mohammed Mahrous scored in the second minute of the game, his second goal of the year. The Hurricanes held on for 83 minutes after until the Moutain Lions finally found the back of the net.
The Hurricanes took the fourth-ranked Young Harris to their limit and look to bounce back in their final home game against Lander University on Oct. 23rd at 7 p.m.
