Senior guard Anthony Sargent scored 30 points to lead four Hurricanes in double figures as Georgia Southwestern posted over 100 points for the second straight day and rolled to a 103-68 win over Carver Bible College Sunday afternoon at the Storm Dome.

Sargent connected on 11-of-20 shots from the floor and 7-of-14 three-pointers in only 28 minutes of action.  Junior Marcus Scott added 17 points, while junior Damayrius Adside had 11 points and senior Rick Russell tallied 10 points.  Redshirt freshman Evan Mobley scored nine points, brought down eight rebounds and led the 'Canes with nine assists.

GSW led 54-25 at halftime. Southwestern extended the lead to 35 three times in the second half, including at the final buzzer, and Carver was never closer than 19.

GSW shot 49.4 percent from the floor as it hit 38-of-77 field goals, including 13-of-28 (46.4 percent) three-pointers, in the game. The Hurricanes dished out 26 assists, against just 12 turnovers, while also tallying 15 steals in the game. The Hurricanes held a 28-4 bench points advantage. 

Cameron Blake led Carver Bible with 22 points while Chris Dudley finished with 17. Joshua Caston also scored in double figures with 12 points. CBC shot 26-of-61 (42.6 percent) in the game and turned the ball over 24 times.

GSW (2-0) travels to Albany State on Saturday (Nov. 22) for a 7 p.m. game.
